Review

For us the Minar Balti is the best Indian restaurant in Rotherham town centre, although in fairness it doesn't have too much competition. The restaurant has been refurbished so if you haven't been for a couple of years I'm sure you'll see that it's changed.

The food here is good and the place itself is quite modern. We tend to visit Minar on week nights and only visit early on Saturdays - we tend to steer well clear of Rotherham town centre late on Saturday nights.

They do the usual variety of dishes including a "healthy dishes" section - not sure how healthy they are but we have tried a few and they are quite good.

The only downside is the cost of some of their drinks. This may change but, they tend to charge a lot for bottled beer but then do a nice house wine quite cheap - must be a ploy to keep the drunks out - lets hope it works!
